SkinPen Precision Microneedling is a minimally invasive, clinically proven treatment known to safely, effectively and precisely improve facial acne scars and the appearance of both neck and facial wrinkles. Each SkinPen Microneedling treatment lasts approximately 30-60 minutes with minimal post-procedure downtime.. 

Many clients will report improvement in their skin's general appearance with one treatment, but often require a series of at least three to four treatments to achieve improvement in the skin's tone, texture, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation and reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. 

Prior to any treatment, Stephanie will walk you through a microneedling treatment, review medical history, complete an informed consent and answer any questions.

Pre-treatment expectations: Arrive with no make-up. No recent sunburn. Avoid retinols a few days prior. At least 4 weeks post-chemical peel or last microneedling session. Numbing will be applied prior to microneedling treatment for comfort. 

Post-treatment expectations: Common side effects may include mild bruising or pinpoint bleeding, Redness or flushing, similar to a moderate sunburn, skin tightness and mild sensitivity to touch. Avoid excess heat, exercise, saunas for 48 hours. Increase hydration and limit alcohol intake for 48 hours. Avoid exfoliating skincare regimens for 48 hours. Wear a minimum SPF 30 daily,

Post-treatment symptoms are most prevalent immediately after microneedling and significantly diminish within the first few hours, with overall resolution after 24 hours.. Those with sensitive skin may have mild evidence of post-treatment side effects for up to 72 hours.
