Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach Stephanie at 262-894-6717 if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Due to safety and sterility protocols, Stephanie does not split syringes between clients or save "leftover" hyaluronic acid.

On average, injectable hyaluronic acid will last for 1-2 years. Please note every client metabolizes hyaluronic acid differently and variances exist in facial region breakdown.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Dermal Filler products are contraindicated in clients with known hypersensitivity to any dermal filler preparations or to any of the components in the formulation.

Clients with history of severe anaphylaxis reaction, lidocaine allergies, significant autoimmune or neurological disease, pregnant or breastfeeding clients, those with history of hypersensitivity or reaction to dermal fillers or their ingredients, poorly controlled diabetics, those prone to bleeding or with known bleeding disorders, infected, inflammation or open wounds near the injection site, susceptibility to keloid formation, hypertrophic scarring or those under the influence of drugs or alcohol shall not be permitted to proceed with dermal filler treatments.

Administration of dermal fillers and all dermal filler products is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. There is no evidence-based research formally refuting or condoning the use of dermal fillers during pregnancy or breastfeeding, as it is unethical to study cosmetic dermal fillers in this protected class of individuals. It is not known whether this drug is excreted in human breast milk.

The most common adverse reactions / complications of dermal filler, and all dermal filler products include, but are not limited to: product beading, clumping or bumping, headache, swelling, bruising, itching, dryness or redness at the injection site, temporary asymmetrical appearance or migration of product, facial pain, tenderness or discomfort, product ineffectiveness or failure of treatment, etc.

injection site infection, eruption of herpetic lesions, intravascular injection leading to permanent vision impairment, blindness, cerebral ischemia or cerebral hemorrhage leading to stroke, skin necrosis and damage to underlying facial structures, superficial necrosis at injection site or permanent scarring of the skin, etc.
